Processes using Google Chrome are failing

dreeves
Level 2

Since Monday, 9/22/25, processes using Google Chrome are experiencing issues. They have been in PRODUCTION running fine since 2021. All of a sudden they can't navigate through websites and failing to find buttons on the screen. The websites themselves look the same as always. We haven't upgraded BP or anything on our VM's this week that would cause this. Anyone else experiencing any of these issues or have an idea of why this is happening?

Hi @dreeves ,

I would recommend you to verify the version of browser.

As many users have reported issues after recent browser updates.

I'm attaching discussion thread for your reference.

Sayeed Bin Abdullah

What type of elements are failing? If it's UIA elements, then I'd say it's what Sayeed pointed out. If it's browser mode elements, then I'd expect it's related to MV2/MV3. I feel like you'd know if it were a browser extension issue and you'd have already mentioned it though. So, it seems more likely to be what Sayeed said.

If it is an issue with your browser extension, then see this support article: [IMPORTANT NOTIFICATION] IMPACT OF MANIFEST V3 ON USE OF CHROME AND EDGE BROWSERS AS PART OF BLUE PRISM AUTOMATIONS :
