Read protected/secured PDF

Hi all! I have several PDF files which are secured, this is, they cannot be copy/pasted. However, they are sercheable since I am able to select the text, search words, etc. Basically, they are Word files converted to PDF files and then protected to avoid people copy text or extract text. I am looking for a way to extract all text from a PDF file of this kind. Anyone has dealed with this issue? Thanks in advance!   Marina

As long as you know the documents' password, PDFsharp is a good solution I've used several times (mostly for adding protection, though...). Its Sourceforge page has some samples included with the downloads, which may help you with integrating it.
