SMTP VBO

Hi All,

We are currently trying to implement SMTP vbo in our project. So is there any way to use smtp vbo without using any credentials ? Like it needs creds to send mail but is there any process to bypass it, and without using credentials all time we can still send mail.

Thanks

This is how I send using the "Email POP3/SMTP VBO" included with Blue Prism:

1. You need to set the Configure the connection with the SMTP Server

2. Send the message

Just remember to test the setting in Outlook to check the ports, encryption, username, and password work fine.

For me, I have to create a new email account with a free provider with POP3 and SMTP free service.

I tested and all work fine for me.

Good morning.
SMTP is an external service that is config by your provider and if they request user validation, is no way yo avoid that. Is a little hard for an SMTP provider to disable this because will allow using their services for SPAM for third party, lack of control and abuse of their SMTP service.

Again I don't have the details of how you doing this process or how the SMTP is config on the server-side.

I wish you the best and have a good day.

Hi

The request for user validation are disabled. If validations are disabled then how can we send emails? What is the process?

Also is there any way to send other than smtp VBO? As VBO is asking username, password.

Thanks
