Saving Excel file as PDF

Hello,
I have found a few videos on this topic and attempted to follow them but not having any luck.  Does anyone have any links to easy walk-throughs on this or is anyone willing to chat with me on how to accomplish this task.

Thanks,

Jon

Hi, Kumari,

well, you enter the complete path with filename in the input parameter Filename. So you should create a calculation stage where you somehow define your naming convention. It can be customername.pdf or customername_yyyyMMdd_HHmmss.pdf with whole path where you want to store it, i.e. c:\temp\Kumari.pdf.

You enter this data item into Filename of the action. Then your pdf will be saved in c:\temp folder with the name Kumari.pdf. Then you go back in your loop to your calculation stage and generate a new filename, i.e. Zdenek.pdf then you enter c:\temp\Zdenek.pdf (as data item) in Filename parameter of the action, and so on.

I can hardly explain it in more detail.

Regards,

@Netto Baptistella,

Are you having issues with the Blue Prism VBO for MS Excel and trying to save a spreadsheet as a PDF? Your post is pretty scarce on detail.

Cheers,

Please how did you dump a collection into a PDF document that looks good?

I tried exporting as pdf but the pdf does not contain all the columns of the excel on one page.

Hi, Kolawole,

do you have a parameter Fit Worksheet on Page in your action? That usually fits the worksheet on one page and then you have one page PDF as an output.

Zdenek

No, I don't have that parameter. Can you kindly assist with the fit worksheet action?
