This machine is already performing and archiving process

Hi all,

We're part way through archiving our session log tables to a network drive.  In error our technology team carried out a system update which resulted in a forced reboot.  Archiving was only 15% complete at the reboot point.

Now, when we try the archive process again we get an error which says 'This machine is already performing an archiving process'

We've tried:

1. Terminating automate.exe​
2. Restarting the VM
3. Logging out/in
4. I have ruled out connection between the archive VM and the database server.
5. bypassed the Application server (that manages connections) and went straight to the SQL Database

I'm guessing there is a field or something in the database with a the True value that an archive is in progress and for some reason the archive process was interrupted.

Would appreciate any input.
