So our team is using the MS Outlook Email VBO provided by Blue Prism in version 6. We are running into concurrency issues when reading in emails with this new VBO. It seems that the 'Move email' and 'mark as unread' actions isn't synching up across our resource PCs, so the end result is multiple resource PCs reading the same email.
We have tried a few things to get our outlook clients synched up with the server but so far we haven't been able to solve the problem. We know a work around could be adjusting our design so that only one machine looks for emails, but I am still curious to see if anyone has run into this same issue and has a solution. Currently we use a lock so that no more than two bots can read email at the same time. However, since the outlook clients on resource PCs do not synch, the lock is pretty much useless.
