This issue most likely occurs due to missing DLL's while the installation of Microsoft Office suite.
Can you try to reinstall or repair the installation for Microsoft Office once and check if it's working?

It can be any of the supporting DLL's which would be difficult to determine. You need to reinstall the entire Office Application setup.
For this you can go to Control Room-> Add/Remove Programs and from there locate Office Application and select either Repair or you can uninstall the application and then Install it again from the Installer file that might be provided to you by your IT team in case you are working for any organisation.
This step might also require some elevated permission or admin access which many times would require you to connect with your IT team depending on the organisation infrastructure.

Can you check what type of file path you are providing for that shared drive file. Is it something like "Z:\<filename>". If yes, you should try to give the entire share drive folder path not the mapped directory short name like Z, Y etc. It should work with that.

Can you show us a screenshot of the path you are using there or type the file path in the reply for this comment ? There should not be double quotes in your file path and it should start with "\\" (double backslashes) ideally.
