unable to open MS Excel work book

I don't know why these days I am getting below error whenever I try to open an Excel file. 
I have no idea how to fix it. Any help would be appreciated.

Is the file a heavy file?
When you open it manually, does it say the workbook is protected and ask to enable contents for making changes?​

No, it's not a heavy file. It's just a demo file with only a few rows of data.

hi Pratima,

Long thread, I tried to read all responses. Pardon me if am repeating which you have already tried.

Noticed there are some Non-English chars in Data Item and also in file path. Did you tried using only English Chars and open Workbook? 
This is just to isolate root cause of issue.

Thank you for your reply.
But the same action and data items are working on another PC. 

I exported this object from my PC and imported it on another machine and tried to run it, 
It was executed without any error.

You can raise support ticket to BP.
