A tool to check imported components for errors for e.g. missing object references or missing links, this tool can be immediately run after importing a release file into PROD environment and report generated can help controllers to correct the errors.

good idea..but shouldn't all this be checked before creating the Final Release and before deploying all that to PROD ?

would like to know your thoughts on this

Hi Harshit, Idea here is when we are cutting release in lower env we can see the dependency and everything , but when the same file is deployed to higher environments we will not be able to know about missing dependent objects untill we run the process. So what Sameer might want to say here is that during deployment only if there is any kind of validation run which checks on dependent process or objects.

yes Harshit it should be checked but there is chance that developers might miss to include some components and code gets deployed to PROD and till the time we come to know it, deployment window is closed
so such tool will help to get list of missing components real time and we will save the time
