For example, if runtime resources aren't available at the time of a scheduled run, but become available later, it will automatically allocate a session.

Currently, it can only be achieved by allocating resource pools and repeating schedules.
But it will complicate the schedule and increase the operational load.

Therefore, I would like you to create a mechanism to automatically allocate sessions by checking the availability of workloads in the work queue and runtime resources.
I'm sure that it will avoid execution errors and improve the utilization of digital workers.

Hello @tsuogawa,

Having done a review of the backlog of ideas on the Community, this idea jumped out to me as something that has been achieved in our recent releases of Blue Prism Enterprise and WorkHQ.

By activating the Automation Orchestrator service in BPE 7.4.1 or later and leveraging Digital Worker Flows with your on-prem workers, you remove the historic problems with "missed schedules" as WorkHQ services can queue triggered sessions if the resource is busy, effectively delivering your idea by assigning the session when the worker next becomes available.

Based on this update, I'm going to mark this idea as Delivered.

Regards,

Rob
