It would be great to have a log of all the changes in the environment variables, the log should be able to track the values (previous and new), who changed the variables, and when they were changed. These would help tremendously in debugging problems causes when a variable is change by mistake.
Additional functionality would be to add the option to restore a previous value or to alert somebody when a value in a specific variable is changed (Send email, SMS, etc).
