Saving a Process or Object

When saving an object or process in Studio have BP automatically update the Edit Summary text with the last changes made to the process or object since the last save. This will save on development time and improve accuracy in the save summary.

On review, we agreed that adding a change summary to the process/object save prompt is a good idea, but this wouldn't satisfy the system requirement for a user to enter comments when they save changes to processes and objects - this would simply be an automatic addition to the commentary that the user enters to be saved against the process/object.

What are your thoughts on this?

With the question we had below unanswered we've decided to mark this as "Not Planned" for the moment, though we'd be happy to review again if you could provide more information.

We would be quite happy to consider developing an automatically generated diff. between a previous version of a process and the current version on save to provide additional information, but we weren't sure whether having this not satisfy the requirement to enter an edit summary comment would render the enhancement less useful for you.
