Hi BP,

I believe from a maintenance perspective, the advanced Database Features such as Table Partitioning also called as Range Partitioning should be provided to the ROM architects to make things easier.

Also Blue Prism SystemAdmins Should be provided with a capability to execute DDL and DML commands from the Blue PrismGUI.

Also Blue prism should provide the capability to use other RDBMS like IBM DB2, Oracle which has more advanced features as compared to MS SQL.

Hi @VinodGudupudi,

Thanks for taking the time to raise an idea.

We've not opted to put database partitioning into Blue Prism Enterprise by default because some of the SQL Server versions we support do not offer this capability unless paying for a premium tier license.

At this time, we do not plan to extend support to allow Blue Prism system administrators to execute queries/commands from the interactive client or provide support for running the Blue Prism Enterprise database on IBM DB2 or Oracle.

Given this update, I'm going to mark this idea as Not Planned.

Regards,

Rob
