Undeliverable Email

When sending an email through Chorus Communications the user should be notified if the email cannot be sent and is undeliverable.  An undeliverable message should be sent to the sender, the reply email address or the from email address.

1. If the email server is unable to send the email, the Document Delivery Status is "error" which is monitored manually.

2. Undeliverable could mean that it was sent with a properly formatted address, but the recipient was invalid.

Please confirm that your requirement is that the process can detect the failure has occurred.

Yes, the requirement is that the process can detect that the failure occurred so the end user sending the email can be made aware.
