AD01 Exam Prep

Hello,

I took the AD01 exam and I failed :( I made a 60.

I took everything in blue prism university and still found myself struggling. Are there any tips as to any extra tips I can do or take to make sure that I pass it next time. I feel like there were some questions that really confused me that I did not learn in the university. Did anybody else experience this or should I just go back and relearn.

Hi There,

As per my experience the foundation guide along with video guides are more than sufficient for AD-01. But yes there are also few other topics you must be well aware about: Exception Handling, Working with work Queues using tags, statuses etc., Best Design Practices and Advanced Data Items like Environment and Session variables. This you can also find in the official AD-01 Certification exam document.

Now coming to the most important part, just going through the videos is not at all enough atleast if you are planning to give the exam as most of the questions are pratical scenario based ones. The way you can really prepare is by practicing it and creating 1-3 POC's of your own on the tool, that way you will be gaining a lot of knowledge and also syntactically u won't do mistakes while writing expressions which are presented quite cleverly in the exam. In real time when you see how debugging works and how exception handling comes into picture, that is how you can make the most of LMS videos as well.

Hi @IkechukwuAnazia,

Agree with @devneetmohanty07 that he mentioned. And in addition, you can also go through the score card which you must have received from Pearson Vue.

Or, else you can download from Blue prism portal. You can see the scores and practice on those topics properly on which u scored low or didn't succeed.
