Here is the most recent updates to test delivery affected by COVID-19 across the globe. Pearson Vue is closely monitoring the changing health and safety recommendations and operating restrictions by state, province, and country, and they are adjusting their operations and capacity parameters accordingly. In this challenging time, their priority remains the health and safety of their employees and testing candidates.
United States Updates:
In Texas, the governor has clarified his orders, and Pearson Vue no longer need to reduce capacity per their communication Monday, December 14.
The five PPCs in the greater Dallas-Fort Worth metro area will not move to 50% capacity and no candidates have been rescheduled.
International Updates:
In the United Kingdom, the following actions are being taken at the Pearson VUE-owned and operated testing centers in alignment with government requirements.
Wales PPCs (10):
Effective December 28, test delivery at the 10 PPCs in Wales will be restricted to essential services only. In the coming weeks, candidates will begin receiving reschedule/cancellation notices.
South Africa, the following actions are being taken at the Pearson VUE-owned and operated testing center in alignment with government requirements.
Johannesburg PPC:
Effective December 14, there is a new 11:00 p.m. curfew in place, which means the PPC must close by 10:30 p.m. to allow safe travel home.
Hours were reduced beginning December 14 and cases were raised for candidates scheduled for December 15 – 18. Mass reschedule/cancellation notifications will happen on December 17 for the period December 19 – December 31.
Curfew Updates:
The following existing curfews did not impact candidates in December, but may have a limited impact on January appointments in the following locations:
United States: Arizona, North Carolina, and Virginia
International: India, France, South Africa, and Turkey
