One thing that is always certain is uncertainty. With the automation profession becoming more complex than ever - we're seeking willing voices to provide guidance, clarity, thought-provoking questions and actionable insight to the SS&C Blue Prism Community.
If you are someone who loves to write and;
- Has an opinion to share
- Has lessons to teach
- Or a good story to tell
then the Community Blog is now open to your submissions!
How does it work?
To help authors, we've created two resources:
- Our Guidance for Blog Authors, which you can find here
This resource provides information on how to submit your article, what we will and won't accept and what happens after you make a submission to the blog. - Our list of Community Hot Topics in Automation, which you can find here
This resource provides a list of suggested topics to write about, gathered from our market intelligence data. It's a good place to start if you don't know what to write about - though keep in mind that we're also open to suggestions that are not on this list!
Just a quick note that we'll only accept original, human-led articles here on the Community Blog. It's ok to use LLMs as a tool to help you write, but we won't accept articles that have already been submitted elsewhere or which are obviously and entirely written by an LLM.
Why write for the Community Blog?
Our profession is moving faster than ever and, as much as we have our own views on where the future lies, we want there to be a place where you can influence thousands of automation professionals across the globe with your take on the future.
But it's not just about thought-leadership. It's also about celebrating the work that is having an impact now. If you have adopted metholodies, strategies or tactics within your automation programs that you think others could benefit from - sharing them here is a great way to help our profession mature.
In addition:
- We'll help you expand your reach through our brand social media channels
- You'll get a linkable, public artefact that you can share on your LinkedIn profile and CV
- And because this is a community, you'll hear from other SS&C Blue Prism users in response to your article. Comments can help expand your view, add extra advice or even just cheerlead your excellent ideas!
As you go through the submission process, we'll also help you master the skill of writing (if you need it!) - with actionable advice and insight into how to make your article more compelling.
How do I get started?
First, be sure to check the Blog Guidelines for Authors - you'll find everything you need there.
When you're ready to start the process with us - just click here. If you've got a draft ready to go, great! But don't worry if not, send us your idea and we'll help you expand it into a beautifully insightful article.
Special thanks
I want to take a minute to thank two very special people, who have already been testing this process with us and have excellent blog articles coming up in the next weeks:
@harish.mogulluri - who is the first community contributor to dive in! Look out for his piece on Microsoft Power Automate & SS&C Blue Prism later this week.
@simone.tomaCNH - who'll be sharing some incredible advice on expanding Blue Prism Enterprise's capabilities with C# later this month.
One final thing from me personally. If you've got an idea but you're anxious, nervous or suffering from that pesky imposter syndrome that hits us all - please take the leap and submit your idea. I speak to so many members of our community who don't realise just how useful their thoughts, advice and approaches could be to others. Everyone has something to teach, and we can only grow our profession by lifting each other high.
Thanks for getting involved!
