We're very excited to announce our Community member of the month for August: @Tejaskumar_Darji
Tejaskumar joined the Blue Prism Community in 2020 and since then he's managed to position himself in our top 10 of most active members. With over 200 contributions on the Community including new posts and replies, he is also constant on our Ideation Portal. It's users like Tejaskumar that make the Blue Prism Community the place to be and today we would like to share with you his answers to our questions!
"I live in a town called Anand located in Gujarat, India. I work at WonderBotz as a Senior Consultant - Automation Developer. I've done my engineering in Electronics where I learned how things work behind the screens, but after graduation, as I started my career in Information Technology was the time I started learning how things work on the screen".
Tell us a bit about yourself and how did you start in RPA / Blue Prism?
Earlier I’ve worked in Manual and Automation testing from where I came to know the concept of emerging RPA technology and the need for automation. By then I was trying to build some small robots that can help us automate daily routine tasks. It was not full-scale automation, but my sole intention was to automate repetitive tasks to free up my fellow buddies with some mundane tasks that we all were doing. After that, the journey became more interesting as I joined WonderBotz in April-2020 where my Blue Prism journey started. As I got more involved, I started engaging more with the Blue Prism community to learn more and share more. I felt the need of boosting the BP Tech Tips section of the Blue Prism community to help everyone know the hidden tips and tricks that generally we do not come across through formal pieces of training. I thank WonderBotz to provide me the opportunity to explore portfolio products of Blue Prism where I got a chance to deep dive into Decipher IDP and I have done a lot of Q&A and research around the product to contribute my best to Decipher community. And that’s how I started with Blue Prism and the journey goes on for learning new things each day and trying to implement them in the best possible manner.
Most interesting automation using Blue Prism? / Best tip you have learnt for Blue Prism?
"I would say Sentiment Analysis and Automated Invoice Processing are the most interesting use cases I’ve come across to date but many more are yet to come.
There are many but here are some Best Tips that I learned through my peers and Community –
1) How to reset Blue Prism password.
2) Reusable components available on Digital Exchange to explore."
Why do you come to the Community everyday?
"Blue Prism Community has helped me learn a lot of new concepts and better solutions to what I already knew. There can be numerous ways to achieve a task and the community helps to find the best one to achieve it. Blue Prism Community is not just a place to share your knowledge but learning new things and improvising the one that you already know is the best part as per my observation. I call my Blue Prism Community experience “Knowledge GetSet on Blue Prism Community” where you do not just share what you know but you solve something that can help others, you collaborate and solve problems that the RPA Community has and that’s what always excites me to keep surfing on the Community portal."
Tell us a fun fact about yourself
"I love to eat food but hate to cook myself. (However, thinking to work on this in the future, haha.)"
What automation have you been involved with that you’re most proud of?
"Automated Invoice Processing is the best part of my RPA journey. The challenges that we have faced to achieve this automation have pushed my limits to know what can be achieved through RPA. Because when you see the problem statement you feel like - no this is not possible, but when you research, try, develop, fail, re-develop, test, and then you understand that nothing is impossible to automate using RPA."
What's your favourite use case?
"Since its RPA I always strive to figure out No Code based approach to achieve automation. If it's necessary to code a certain piece of automation that is fine, but my priority has always been to leverage native components that do not use a code-based approach. But as we all know there are scenarios where a code-based approach can save a lot of processing time and serve better results.
My favourite use case is Document Processing."
If you could change one thing about Blue Prism, what would it be?
"One thing that I’m desperately looking forward to in all Blue Prism products is the Dark/Black theme.
I would like to add here some of my thoughts about the Ideation portal. I too have contributed a good amount of ideas to the Ideation portal and I’m really happy that the team is doing their best to deliver it. I’m glad that many of my ideas are being heard and implemented and that is how we all together make a product better for every one of us."
What do you love the most about the Community?
"You get to learn new things every time you visit the Blue Prism community portal and that’s the best part of it that I feel. Email updates come in handy as it gives a glimpse of what’s going on in community via email alerts when I don’t get time to check out portal."
Tell us about a current hobby
"I like doing poetry and open mic. I write Songs, Poems, Ghazal and Inspirational Quotes in English, Hindi, and Gujarati languages."
