REMINDER: Action Required: BPC Data Vault & Partitioner - Changes Effective September 2026 

Enhanced database maintenance for the BPC Data Vault & Partitioner will be enabled commencing September 2026. Please review the changes below and take any necessary action before this date. 

What's changing? 

Three key updates are being introduced: 

  • Additional tables are now in scope. Most notably, BPAAuditEvents (365-day retention) and BPAWorkQueueItem (90-day retention) are now included. If your processes, objects, integrations, or reports query historical data from these tables beyond those thresholds, they will no longer find that data in the production database - you must review and update them before September. 
  • Index maintenance has been added. Monthly maintenance now includes database index maintenance, which temporarily drops active database connections. Please do not schedule automations or other activities during your elected BPC maintenance window. 
  • A new maintenance schedule is in place. Activity is now split across three windows: 
    • Daily - Background cloning; fully transparent, no operational impact. 
    • Weekly - Session log partitioning during the scheduled platform reboot. 
    • Monthly - Full archiving and index maintenance during your elected BPC maintenance window. 

Action Required 

Before September 2026, please review any processes, reports, or integrations that query BPAWorkQueueItem or BPAAuditEvents for historical records. Specific examples of impact include: 

  • Processes querying BPAWorkQueueItem for items processed more than 90 days ago will no longer find that data in production. 
  • BPAAuditEvents older than 365 days will no longer be accessible in production, meaning process and object version history beyond approximately 12 months will not be visible in the Blue Prism Enterprise client.

Windows 11 23h2 End of Life - November 2026 

As mentioned previously in the Announcement: Blue Prism Cloud - 2026 Q2/Q3 Windows 11 23h2 End of Support is rapidly approaching. 

For most of our customer base, this will not be an issue as you are running on supported versions. 

A small subset of customers who are still running Windows 11 23H2 or older will be contacted in August via a support ticket with instructions on how to upgrade.

End of Life Dates and Impacts 

BPE 7.4.1 Electron spy mode feature due to .NET 8 - unsupported** from 10 November 2026 due to .NET 8 EoL 

  • As mentioned in the webinar, our data indicates that no customers are currently using the Electron Spy Mode feature in BPE 7.4.1. As a result, the planned patch is no longer required, and the feature will be removed. Customers who require Spy Mode can continue to use the feature by upgrading to BPE 7.5. 

Hub 5.1.1 due to .NET 8 - unsupported** from 10 November 2026 due to .NET 8 EoL 

  • 5.1.4 (.NET 10) will be automatically patched before EoL date 

Windows 11 23H2 – unsupported** as of 10 November 2026 

  • Please see Windows 11 23H2 section for further details 

Folder Watcher due to .NET 8 - unsupported** from 10 November 2026 

  • Further information regarding upgrade options will be communicated in due course 

Director - unsupported** from 01 January 2027

Blue Prism Enterprise 7.5.1 and Hub 5.1.4 Product Release on Blue Prism Cloud 

On 15 July 2026, we held the product release webinar for SS&C Blue Prism Enterprise 7.5.1 and Hub 5.1.4 on Blue Prism Cloud. In the session, we covered the key features of the new version and outlined the rollout plan, including: 

  • Blue Prism Enterprise 7.5.1 
    • Automate browsers without extensions: New browser automation capabilities programmatically automate browsers without needing an installed extension, easing security reviews and simplifying deployment. 
    • Subscribe to automation updates for seamless handoffs: Using the SS&C Blue Prism API, notifications can now be sent when work items that have been submitted for processing are complete. 
    • User interface improvements to improve scalability and usability: Additional filter functions in Control Room allow controllers to search through work queues and schedules lists as well as available processes. 
    • Minor enhancements, fixes, and performance optimizations. 
  • Blue Prism Hub 5.1.4 
    • .NET 10 support 
    • Minor fixes and performance improvements

Removal of Unused Applications 

As part of our ongoing efforts to optimize service delivery and resource allocation, it is important that customers remain on the latest supported versions of Blue Prism products. 

Removing unused applications for customers offers several benefits, including reducing the risk of compatibility issues; reducing the number of upgrades customers need to take; and aiding troubleshooting efforts.

**Blue Prism will be entitled to stop providing Support Services, will not be required to meet any SLA applicable to the Product, and will have no liability in connection with Customer's failure to upgrade, including any security issues. When a platform enters an unsupported state, support will be provided on a commercially reasonable endeavours basis only, and contractual SLAs will no longer apply.
