Bypass Windows Legal Notice with Remote Desktop Services asset

JonathanRoux

Hi,

After downloading and configuring the "Remote Desktop Services - Blue Prism" asset, we have a problem of bypassing the legal message when opening a session with the "start RDP session" object.

During our debugging phase we noticed that it was stuck on this message without the possibility to bypass it as the login agent could do.

Does anyone have a solution to this problem?

Thanks,

Jonathan

Hi Jonathan,

From a non technical view what I would say is that a Digital Worker shouldn't be shown a legal notification when logging in as part of the Robotic Operating Model as these are human policies being applied to the RPA estate.

In the same way a Digital Worker wouldn't accept a disclaimer advising that all staff need to acknowledge that they have put their lunch in the fridge so that the office doesn't smell.

It can be a tough battle at first but the answer lies in engaging the relevant IT decision makers and putting in place policies for Digital Workers meaning things like screen locks/timeout, password expiration, and Interactive messages are not applied to the GPOs containing the RPA Digital Worker accounts and resources, they should still however remain in place for the human workers controlling the estate.

Kind Regards
