Please go through the cyber ark integration guide  available on portal.

Basically, it's web api calls to the cyber ark server to retrieve credentials against a particular username.

The technical details about configuration and "how to" are mentioned in the document provided.

In addition to what Vivek pointed to (which is the way Blue Prism recommends, including use of the SOAP web service), you can also consume the CyberArk REST API using Blue Prism's Web API feature or using the Utility - HTTP object.

Try here: https://docs.cyberark.com/Product-Doc/OnlineHelp/PAS/Latest/en/Content/PASIMP/Introducing-the-Privileged-Account-Security-Solution-Intro.htm

We use the CyberArk REST API to manage our bot passwords automatically. There's a lot of options available if you use CyberArk v10+.

Hi dave ,

we are trying to implement cyber ark we facing issues with mainframe applications our mainframe applications has 90 days expiry policy in cyberark if we set auto rotate  password after 90 days it will only update in cyberark its not syncing with mainframe applications we manually have to update password in UI emulator ,in ui emulator its asking old and new password to update password ,cyberark gives only new password ,is there any service or utility  in blueprism to update password in mainframe applications

I haven't worked with trying to get CyberArk to sync with a mainframe app directly. Have you reached out to CyberArk directly to see if they can troubleshoot that for you?

If CyberArk doesn't seem to support the interface for the mainframe app (not supplying the old password), then you could consider having a Blue Prism automation update the mainframe app password, but that might entirely change your architecture for password management. I think it'd be best to reach out to CyberArk.
