MS 365 Outlook VBO error - @odata.type does not belong to table

We're testing the MS365 - Outlook VBO as of recent for a customer and encountered the following error that we can't understand. 

Can anyone clarify the meaning of it and walk us through towards the resolution?

We're investigating that error as part of a larger ticket. It seems the response JSON definition can change a bit from one scenario to another, but we're still investigating. Once we have a solution, we'll post an update.
