Hello @Michael_S

First Observation - >While replying to post, if we have already drafted content say of 5 min ago and then resuming replying again.A msg is coming to load the autosaved drafted - which is good but time of that msg is of UK time zone. it should be user's system time. it add to the confusion

2nd Observation ->

We can add only one attachment while replying. Although i did not try Zipping and upload as one attachment but check if this can be increased to at least 2.

Hi @Neel1 -

  • Annoyingly, the time zone issue is a weird quirk of our community platform. In almost all other circumstances, the time that a user sees is their browser time. For some reason, that specific timestamp is set at system level - we can't make it bespoke to each user's timezone.

  • Attachments are something we have to carefully consider. Our community is open to the public, and so we have a legal duty of care to ensure that anything hosted on our site is fit for public consumption according to the laws of every country it's accessible to. We are able to change:
    • The filetypes that users are allowed to attach
    • The file sizes that users are allowed to attach

  • With that in mind, we generally advise that the community is not a suitable platform for file sharing. We'll allow it in specific circumstances if a user contacts us in advance, but we're not comfortable with the risks of making filesharing easier because malicious actors could use the feature to harm our members.

  • You might have noticed we're in the midst of some changes to how product associations work (for example, we removed the individual version numbers from products recently) and that's because those associations power multiple automations across the community (our Product Pages for example). The volume of posts about the Community platform itself is extremely low (less than 10 per year) so, right now, it's not a priority for us to implement. I'll add it to our backlog though and if we get access to some spare sprint time, we'll get it done.

Hope that helps explain things - community platforms can be very weird.

Hello @Michael_S  i think i have found the solution to first observation.

in the preference> Time zone> by default. GMT-UK is enforced. i changed it to India and tested it with sample draft message, It worked
