#BPTechTips - Use Copy functionality to reuse an existing spied element

Tech Tip: Use the Copy functionality to quickly reuse an existing spied element without having to locate it in the Application Modeller.

When we spy elements in the Application Modeller, we typically search for and identify each element to drag and drop it into a stage in the object. However, if an element is already used in a stage, you can save time by simply copying it rather than searching for it again in the Application Modeller.

In Screenshot-1 below, the element has already been spied in the Application Modeller. Right-click on the element, select Cut or Copy (depending on your intent), and paste it into the desired stage, as shown in Screenshot-2.

Note:
This is especially helpful when you have many elements in the Application Modeller and are not familiar with the elements present.

Thank you for posting this in the Blue Prism Community. Many people are not aware of how to utilize this feature available in Object Studio with respect to Application Modeller elements. 😉
