Blue Prism has stopped working while starting as runtime resource

Hi ,
After successfully configuring a run time resource to a DB where no SSO  enabled , tried configuring a runtime to a DB connection with sso enabled and facing issues . Problem I am facing is sometimes when the resource pc startup script runs , Resource PC comes up and closes saying Blue Prism has stopped working 


Run time resource script used 

"C:\Program Files\Blue Prism Limited\Blue Prism Automate\automate.exe" /resourcepc /public /port 8200 /sso

Multiple Errors from event Logs in BP v6.2
The communication object, System.ServiceModel.Channels.ReliableRequestSessionChannel, cannot be used for communication because it is in the Faulted state.

Sometimes there is no issue , sometime issue comes up , Any help will be appreciated

Hi Nighil,

Could you please provide further details regarding your current Blue Prism Environment?
  • Have you configured the Blue Prism Server on the workstation that is connected to the database server?
  • What type of database authentication used for the Blue Prism Database connetion (Blue Prism native user authentication or MS Active Directory user authentication - SSO)
  • Is the Blue Prism Server Service running successfully?
  • Is the Runtime Resource (Resource PC) configured to connect with the Blue Prism Server?
  • Is the Runtime Resource running on a second workstation (recommended) or the same workstations where the Blue Prism Server also running (not recommended)?

Sorry for the late reply , have raise a support ticket as well for the issue  93318   and issue seems not to appear just having one appserver up and all the others shutdown

  • Have you configured the Blue Prism Server on the workstation that is connected to the database server? - No
  • What type of database authentication used for the Blue Prism Database connetion (Blue Prism native user authentication or MS Active Directory user authentication - SSO)- SSO
  • Is the Blue Prism Server Service running successfully? _Yes
  • Is the Runtime Resource (Resource PC) configured to connect with the Blue Prism Server? - Yes but crashes
  • Is the Runtime Resource running on a second workstation (recommended) or the same workstations where the Blue Prism Server also running (not recommended)?  - server and runtime in different machines

As you are tracking these through 2 tickets in the Support System it may be of value to the community if it turns out to be relatively simple resolution (once the analysis is concluded) to share the solution with the wider audience in case others encounter similar challenges.

Sorry for the delay in Updating , turns out my new new email id is not reflecting in the portal and hence no notifications

Issue was resolved , big thanks to Anthony from BP support team 

Load balancer  session persistence was not enabled , after enabling this , everything worked
