Hi Udit,

There's nothing inbuilt for SMS or call , you have to connect to a 3rd party service/app somehow for SMS only
For 3rd party thing you can refer - send-sms-using-blue-prism

Hi Udit,

There is a third party service called as Twilio where you need to create an account and buy a dedicated service number. The charges depend on various countries and the plans differ. But what you can do with this that you can both send sms and even voice mails to any number that you want leveraging the API calls. In order to know more about Twilio, refer to the following link: https://www.twilio.com/

Also, I did a lot of POC' s last year around this functionality and even created videos on my YouTube channel showcasing the use case: Stock Notifier Process Using Blueprism

Hope this helps you out and if so, please mark the current thread as the 'Answer', so others can refer to the same for reference in future.

I am sharing my experience on this  topic.
We had large Volume SMS Quota on BOT ID. and when sending exception in send mail we are adding phone number like this
+91Phonenumber@sms.company name and delivered exception on Mobile.
and this do not require any integration.

If I had to do it, I would use an android phone, connect to it through the browser via Messages app, and the bot can interact with the phone messaging service through the browser.  I would imagine this would be cheaper than using a 3rd party service since you can get an unlimited text plan with a phone.  Not sure what the downside is if you have a ton of phone numbers you need to text.

As the above replies already mentioned, the only way to do this is via 3rd party voip software.

Ideally, if your organisation has a call centre, I would advise you to try and talk to your IT Ops team - maybe there already is a service in place you can leverage for this.
