I am trying to see how i can use Capture 4.0 to take screenshot of a process while on MS Teams call when an SME is working his or her way around a process.

hello Adeniyi - Best way is - Install capture in their system and capture will record the navigation.
if that is not possible then try following method
Capture installed in your machine and on call with your SME- You perform the navigation by taking control of SME's system:-> then this tool will capture the details.
but Navigation performed by your SME on their system will not be captured.

Hello @AdeniyiAderinso
No, it will not capture on screenshare. For the best output:
1. Install it the either on business/customer/SME machine
2. (if your org uses RDPs/Citrix machines) Install capture on that machine or on image level, give machine access to customer and guide them to login to that machine and perform the actions needed in capture as well as process steps.
