CollectionName.ColumnName in BP V10

JatinKalra

Hi All and BP Team,

Till 6.8 version of BP we are able to see values of CollectionName.ColumnName in every stage of BP like calculation, other actions input and Decision. But from Version 6.9 and 6.10 version this functionality has removed.

Now on evaluating an expression if CollectionName.ColumnName we are getting object reference error message.
I would request Blue Prism to please bring that back. Please don't follow the suit of another automation tools for this.

Benefits of having evaluate option:
1. Ease of Debug
2. Able to know value need not to navigate to collection to check values
3. Its difficult to check collection for every record
4. Easily create expression and check at that period of time
and many more.

Requesting you all whoever read this please bring in notice to Blue Prism team and include there team members and mention in other forums also or communities.
By removing this functionality its make difficult unit testing also.
I have gone through documents where we have remove this functionality due to bug.

Hi Jatin,

That has been reported as a known issue (BP-1497) and will be addressed in 6.11.

We're sorry for any inconvenience this has caused in the interim.

Kind Regards

Ben
