Could not identify process owning the current foreground window

I'm seeing an intermittent error in several different processes working against multiple Internet Explorer applications: Internal : Failed to perform step 1 in Navigate Stage 'Focus Offers Tab' on page 'Offer' - Could not identify process owning the current foreground window I can keep putting exception handling around them, but would like to know why this is probably happening. Any ideas?

Thanks for that Denis. I had searched but must admit the new format of the forums/knowledge base is throwing me off my game.
