Dropdown menu with Surface Automation

Hello, Is it possible in Blue Prism v5 to use dropdown menus in surface automation? HTML works, but slows down the process a great deal. Unfortunately the application used does not allow pressing enter to select items, so the correct pixel coordinate should be left clicked with mouse. I would also like to verify the text after selection to determine whether it is correct or not, yet BP fails to recognize the text. Do you have any recommendations?

The v5 Surface Automation training has an entire section on drop downs/combo boxes and it gives about 4 example options of how you might interface with it. Maybe revisit  that training for a refresher before you start.
