Error loading statistics. Please check the database connection string : how to resolve?

We are using different SQL server and did not use the default server from the installation guide (which is to use SQL server express).

The error "Error loading statistics. Please check the database connection string" appears to all of the selections from the Reports tab. After a few seconds, the error message disappears but the dashboard is just loading forever and not displaying anything. Is there a way to configure the DB connection string without reinstalling Decipher again?

Hi John,

This occurs when you have windows authentication for the SQL User (Integrated Security=True) in your connection string and the identity pool of decipher is using local system. In order for IIS server access correctly the database to do the reporting it needs to run the identity pool under the same user. More information on the article below:
