Issue while reading the Table column data & Auto calculate field error

kiranb25

Hi All,
I am using Decipher2.3
We are trying to read the table column value as is, but sometimes it populates
>empty value
>only first line/Sec line value of same row
>Correct value
>Sometimes it ignores to read the complete row.

Issue1:
while reading a column value (Assume column name as Product num) in the table data.
Scenario1: Where the line has expected value Can be numeric or alphanumeric (Single line or two lines with additional data in the same row)
Scenario2: Empty value. Expected outcome of ocr is NULL to be populated.
Scenario3: Random text.
>We have trained the DFD with almost 300+ documents with all the above scenarios as individual and mixed batches.
>As the column value is important for business logic validation whether to continue or stop processing the main Queue item.
Note: Updated the Misc. parameters UTD=true.
It populated the correct value sometimes but in a batch of 10 doc if 3 are exception with this issue and 3 are with other issue then the automation rate is very low So considering this i am posting.
>We cannot use ant regex/formulas as its important to read whatever the value it has even if its empty.

Issue2:
We have created an extra field inside the table fields with auto calculate function to define a value based on the another field, But the formula works only for the first row as for all the remaining rows it copies the first row value.
Eg: as per the formula, first row value is x and t populates the correct value but all the rows from 2 to n is populated with same first row value which is x.
Any solution or am i missing anything here. Please suggest.

Hi Kiran,

I'm not sure about your first issue, it's difficult without the DFD, seeing the document and having the full details of your training. I would recommend raising a support ticket and if you can share these details, we might be able to provide some guidance.

The second issue is lightly due to the missing parametric variable. For formulas in a table to applied to each row, you need to include #. The # will be automatically replaced with the row number e.g. FT_LINE_TOTAL:# - FT_LINE_DISCOUNT:# + 1000. See the respective section on Parametric Variables in the online help Formula language.

Thanks

Ben
