Kill Process in Blueprism

Hi,   I am trying to kill a process using Kill process Activity. But since the application is in Not Responding State the Kill Process is not working. Could this be due to Blueprism not able to detect the application when it is in Not Responding State or any other issue? Please share your views .   Thanks in Advance. Dhanish
