Surely, working with Surface Automation does multifold the efforts needed, though, in this case, it was the only option left.
We did check probably last Jan with the BP Team on the support, they mentioned that they do not support all versions of the IBM iAccess, thus, it has issues. Though, it would be great to check with them if any updates on that. Also, enclosing a link of supported Mainframe applications for your reference.
