Make IE in Windows 10 to have only 1 PID for all TABS

Anonymous

Hi,

In Windows 10, each IE tab has it's own PID. I need to suppress this to make IE have only 1 PID despite you open 10 different TABs. Currently if you open 10 TABs you see in Task manager 11 iexplore PIDs, which is not ok. Windows 7 had only one IE for all the tabs you might have open.

Thank you!

Please check the link:

https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/askie/2009/03/09/opening-a-new-tab-may-launch-a-new-process-with-internet-explorer-8-0/

You need to edit  the tabprocgrowth in registry editor to 0.

Hi Vivek,

Seems that the new Windows Updates disabled this feature or now you can not have only one PID for all the tabs.

Do you know other method to suppress the multiple PIDs for IE?

Thank you in advance!
