What are all the metrices we should consider before automating the Process using Blue Prism and How to calculate those metrices?

Hi @BhavithraL ,
I think, You can use Process Assessment Tool.

Hi @BhavithraL ,
Long story cut short, they say - You cant "Manage" what you don't "Measure", which indeed is the key aspect or the driving factors for a successful and mature RPA COE - There could be all sort of metrics which helps to acts as an indication of how RPA programs evolve and grow, how adept teams are at identifying RPA opportunities and prioritising them through to development . Few of the Business Metrics usually are as follow (Naming Standards change as per the Organisation/Business Naming Standards) - Cost benefits Metric which calculates the ROI, Complexity Charter or Metric - which helps to determine the complexity and capability required for the automation and there could be many more around Budget, Infra, Time Value etc, below are few pointers which are considered when building something of this sort.
For benefit calculations you do it once when you are aware of the Complexity Metrics, Delivery cost (License, Infra, Dev cost) and etc. The benefits or ROI calculations are done during or after first contact meeting (Discovery Sessions).
We call it payback period modeller or the cash-flow as below: Payback period is time where you start realising the benefits (+ figures), basis on all of these charters or metrics these projects gets approval/sign off from upper management officials to be commenced for development.
Getting in touch with your Discovery team or the Business Analysts would be a good idea here for you.

Hi @BhavithraL
Check out this post on our brand new courses on BPPI (Blue Prism Process Intelligence). This tool helps to locate candidates for process automation, calculates key metrices such as how much time can be gained via automation, cost savings, complexity of the automation, number of application interactions and so on. This would be of great help in assessing manual processes before automating them.
