Hello,
We are using the Read with OCR tool in Blue prism version 5 but are having some trouble reading words that are underlined. The underlined words touch the line, so there is not a gap between the word and line; which I think is the issue as we can read other words that are underlined and don't touch the line.
Does anyone have any ideas on how we could read this? Unfortunately we can not change the way the words are presented and cant spy the area either. I know using font recognition (not as reliable in this case hence using OCR) there is an option to say the text is underlined is there anything like this for reading with OCR?
Many Thanks

This is the issue with OCR - you're at the mercy of the quality of the image, and essentially all OCR is a guess. Maybe experiment with a loop that increases the Scale input by about 0.5 each time. You might find that there is a particular scale for optimum results.

Preprocess of OCR'd inputs is the answer here.
Simply use code stage to get rid of any inconveniences from image that you want to OCR.
