Process Validation Error

Hi, guys,

Some of the users on our platform are not able to use the built-in process validation tool. They are getting an error pop-up stating that "Unauthorized - user does not have permission." (you can view the details in the attached document). 

We've been able to isolate the root cause as being related to user roles/rights. More specifically, it seems that the issue can be solved by assigning to  a specific user the "System Administrator" role. But then the thing is that, by assigning this user role, you grant access to each and every permission for that specific role.

So my question is which of the permissions included in the "System Administrator" role is triggering the right to use Process Validation or not?

Hi Radu -  interesting issue. Did you check with your administrator what kind of roles are granted to the individuals that are having this popup message? It seems like a role based access issue where you are not authorized to open the 'Edit_Loans_CO' process. Segregation of access is important to make sure that only developers can modify certain processes, it could be that your company is enforcing these type of rules?
