Saving an E-mail as a File

Hi, I am using mapiex to get all the data i need from an email. Does anyone then know how i can then save that e-mail as a file? idealy as it is extracting the information, if not i can do it as another object after i have got the data. I am using ms outlook. Many Thanks

There is currently no Save As option within our Email interfaces that would allow you to save the entire email to file. It might be worth discussing your specific use case with your Blue Prism Delivery Enablement Manager so that he can advise on potential ways forward. It might be that simply saving all the text from the email to a text file may meet your requirements.

What we did to be able to save emails as a file is to create an outlook email rule to attach the email to another email, then BP will save that email attachment to a folder. Please let us know if anyone found another solution.
