We have scheduled processes with send keys. The processes work fine in attended mode. But these fail at SendKey steps in unattended mode. Can some body please advise?

Are you using RDP to connect to your VMs? RDP is specifically not recommended as a remote access tool because the remote desktop is destroyed once you disconnect. The VM is still running, but without a desktop actions like keystrokes, mouse clicks and screenshots do not work. The solution is either to use Login Agent to log out and log back in again (and not watch via RDP), or to use a remote access tool that enables the remote desktop to persist. http://portal.blueprism.com/system/files/2017-11/v6%20Data%20Sheet%20-%20Remote%20Access%20Tools.pdf

Thanks John. We have tried Login Agent. Do we need to first logout and login back in? BP is hosted in MS Azure cloud. Please advise.

Yes. You want to get the machine into a logged in state with resource PC running (for this you will need a shortcut that runs on start up). The run your process without connecting via RDP. If you do connect with RDP then you'll need to run Log Out and Log In again.
