Set Data action does not work

For a process I am trying to change the collection data of a work queue item with set data action trying to set a new collection for the item. Process runs without error, but when I get the item data after set data action, there is still old collection inside. What should be the possible cause of this?

Set Data will only work if you have locked the item via Get Next Item. Bust assuming you've done that, it should work. Maybe try a small pause, maybe 1 second, between the Set and the Get.
