UI Improvement

Hi Blue prism Team,

Please try to improve on UX of the product.
We have written a lot of times in idea panel​ but no one is responding. To be frank after using other tool it does not feel good to see Blue pris UX. With bunch of added features the UI is not looking that great.

This is just an opinion from a big of Blue prism. No comparison with any tool.

Hi Amian.

This is something I've been working towards. It's a massive challenge, we have to be sympathetic to our current user base. Just moving a button may massively affect customers. We've invested heavily in improving our UX and UI – understanding user pain points, massively improving the accessibility and usability. There's a lot of plates to juggle – it's coming soon 😉

In the meanwhile, my team are always looking to interview and understand as many user pain points as possible. If you're up for it, we'd love to reach out and talk to you.

Hello All,

I totally agree with you @_Amlansahoo. UI/UX is something where Blue Prism needs to improve a lot. The tool itself is really great in all aspects but UI is what interconnects tool with the user.

I too believe this is big change but this needs to be dealt on priority.

We all need to make the tool better together.

I am also keep adding the ideas on Idea page regarding UI/UX changes.

Great to hear UI changes are in the pipeline as I also agree that there could be some huge efficiencies and improvements made to Blue Prism to make it much more user friendly.  @PaulWilshaw happy to shoot ideas through to your team if this helps.  Will send a DM.  Some hgh level:

- Being able to set default column widths in Control room screens and Session Logs so that you don't have to manipulate the column widths each time you load up a new log.
- Improving UI on laptops.  Some options don't even show in the UI on a smaller screen.
- Having an Exception window/view/search function which enables bot controllers to show all exceptions over a set period across multiple queues, rather than having to do multiple clicks through every queue and then filter by exception.
- Being able to filter for pending items that are past their next review date.
