Unable to Fetch extracted document data from Blue Prism

Hi Community,
Good Noon!

We are facing an issue in Decipher IDP, the issue is when we try to fetch the output of a batch that is verified, Blue Prism shows False status in the batch available flag. However, if we set the export settings to .csv the output file is getting generated. The other actions such as creating a batch, push documents are working fine

Below are the steps that we have tried:

  • Uninstalled and Re-Installed blue prism.
  • Uninstalled and Re-Installed Decipher IDP components.
  • We tried creating a new user in rabbitMQ and even that didn't work.
Please guide us on resolving this ASAP. i have attached the screenshot below:

Hello, Jeevan,

it happened to me once and the only resolution was to call an SQL query through Blue Prism to get the batch id and work with that. There is a Decipher Template with explanation how it works. You can take the SQL query and pass it batch id which you get when you push document to Decipher and you will get it once it is ready for export. I know it is not solution for the root cause but the only one which you can use reliably.

Hi Jeevan.

I've not seen this issue before but something you can do is take a look at the Get Batch Status skill in the DX.(Blue Prism Digital Exchange). It will allow you to query the database for all your batches based on the query parameters you've provided.

Additionally, you could open a case with technical support as this is not expected behavior in Decipher and something is amiss.

Thanks for the response, I am trying out the SQL query method I will let you know the status in a while.

We have installed Decipher IDP in several machines but only in the client device/ client-server it is not fetching the batch data, we have installed all the components with the Admin account, and can there be any issue with the permissions?

One more thing i noticed in rabbitmq the queue items are empty.

Hi Jeevan,

Using SQL should be a last resort as it could slow down your document processing.

If your RabbitMQ queue is empty that would indicate an issue with passing the information from Decipher to RabbitMQ. This could be due to the users access.

What credential are you using to interact with RabbitMQ? The default is guest.

This is configured in the BP process, but also the Decipher Server installation.

Can you see any queues logging communication errors?

Thanks
