In Browser mode I need to click on a person's name (it's a link that will navigate to some page).
The problem I am facing is - I have created a flow in Objects for clicking on the name. But when I do that it does not click on the name. I have tried various options. Please help. Attaching screenshot below for the navigate actions -

Are you able to identify the element but not click on it? Or is it failing to identify the element?
What attributes are you matching on to uniquely and consistently identify the element?

Has this been spied as an HTML element? have you tried spying it with a different spy mode UI or AA? these might work better for you. If neither of these work an alternative solution is to use the element with the navigate action Focus, then using the root application use a Global mouse click.

I am unable to spy on other modes. It allows only browser mode for spying. This element is seen on a window opened on chrome. I tried using what you told in navigate. Please see screenprint below. But it gives error. Looks like I am missing something. Please see screenshot below. What should I put in inputs? Is input required for mouse button ?

Sorry I should have said in the inputs for the global mouse click you should write "LEFT" in the mouse button field. This is left mouse click and should work for you, I also should have said select Global mouse click center since its a button but Global mouse click or Global mouse click center should work the same.

Was there any exception or it's not just clicking it? Perhaps, try to highlight the element if it's on the right spot. Also, you can try to use actions such as Press or Global Mouse Click Center.

This looks right so should work. Can you share a screenshot of the application you are using and where the button is? what you could try which ive found sometimes resolves these issues is place the focus in one navigate and the global mouse click centre in a separate navigate. I've found with websites sometimes having them in the same navigate can prevent it working as well.

Now its working. What I did is first I used navigate action and I did activation of root application. Then I used navigate action and first did focus of element and then clicked the element. Now its working 🙂
Thanks for all the help. Looks like hit and trial works 🙂
