Upgrading Blue Prism version from 6.8 to 6.9

Hello, 

I am facing an issue with Blue Prism v.6.8 with running processes unattended while connecting through a remote desktop, my process runs properly if it's attended but it doesn't when being unattended to the remote desktop, the issue mainly happens when the remote desktop is closed using the (x) button or minimized, however, the session remains active.

I tried the same process in v6.9 and the process worked fine so I thought that upgrading to v6.9 would solve my problem.

now my question: is BluePrism v6.9 a stable version? will it affect other processes in the same solution? I'm not able to conduct full testing because it's a whole solution that has multiple processes and it's provided to a bank that is waiting for a reply whether the upgrade would solve the remote desktop problem and still doesn't affect any other process.

I would appreciate it if anyone gives me some heads up.

I would be highly skeptical that the RDP issue won't happen with version 6.9. RDP will cause problems with any RPA solution, and it's not something that can be fixed by Blue Prism.

I would check out this thread for a list of remote access tools that will work with Blue Prism. As far as upgrading to version 6.9, check out the release notes, the changes 6.9 made start on page 11.

Hi,

It is not BP version issue.

Please check that element attributes specially match Index.

if match index is 1 then use 0 or 2 and highlight it before saving.
