Why do I get "Failed to start server – Database connection is not configured correctly" when try to start the Blue Prism Server Service from BPServer

This could be because you have installed the Learning Edition. This is a limited edition of the product and it doesn't come with the Blue Prism Server component.
The key features that are provided by the Blue Prism Application server include;
  • Marshalling all connectivity between all Blue Prism component and the database
  • Provision of the Secure Credential Store
  • Data encryption and decryption capabilities 
  • Scheduled process execution.

I am having the same problem, trying to start the server on a virtual machine. 
It is running on an enterprise license.

The drop-down to select "Database Connection" is empty.
If I start Blue Prism normally, I can see both the local BP database and the SQLExpress server I set up.
Both of them work when using the normal Blue Prism application.
