It would be very useful send an automatic email when an activity is moved \ created into the MY INBOX  tab of user.

In this way the user will be notified immediately without perform a manual check into own MY INBOX tab!

Thanks!

Hi Ambrogio,

Thank you for raising this idea. Again, apologies for not getting a response sooner. During the design of Interact and design of features since then, we did consider the best approach to notifying and making users aware of certain activities.

Obviously something we do not want to do was to flood a users inbox with large quantities of email notifications of activity on Interact, especially as consumers scale their use of Interact and more submissions are raised to users or groups of users.

Few questions:

  1. Is the problem that inbox items are not getting actioned because users are not aware of them?
  2. Are these users logged into the system daily, or do they only log in on certain occasions?
  3. How often do you have items added to users inboxes?

Best Regards,
Tom

Bumping this idea  https://community.blueprism.com/t5/Product-Ideas/Automatic-Email-activity-in-MY-INBOX/idi-p/103859

we are using the Interact forms to receive work items that we approve before completion. Can we get some form of alerting to let us know when new work items arrive rather than manually logging in and  checking the Interact Tool every day?  we get new work items into our team on a daily basis

Hi @JoeHuxtable,

Would you be willing to share your thoughts to the questions that Tom originally asked?

  1. Is the problem that inbox items are not getting actioned because users are not aware of them?
  2. Are these users logged into the system daily, or do they only log in on certain occasions?
  3. How often do you have items added to users inboxes?

I can see that you've commented that you have new items into your inboxes daily, but I'd be interested in what the response is to the other two items. Are users only using Interact sporadically, so you're losing time when they're not logged in and not aware of work that is ready to be actioned?

Regards,

Rob
