I'd like to borrow Back and Forward elements from the interet browsers to enable moving back and forth the browsing history, that's generated when moving from page to another. Please note: I've a process/object design/debugging in my mind.

Currently, after drilling down from Main Page to a subpage, for example, coming back the same browsing path can be done by choosing subpage's Start stage and "Return to page reference" from the context menu. It's a bit clunky.

What I've been thinking, a snappier way would be to click a "Back" button from the toolbar. Or alternatively by choosing Ctrl-Left or Ctrl-Right shortcuts from the keyboard, to move back and forth, accordingly. (Or by choosing a programmable key from the mouse, if you've one.)

Hi @MikkoKamppila,

Thanks for taking the time to raise an idea.

Though the suggestion made here is interesting, I think the lack of community votes is indicative of the fact that a lot of other users don't feel like they'd navigate back/forward in the way you've described here.

At this time, I'm going to mark this idea as Not Planned, however the idea will still remain open for voting so should there be a change in the amount of support expressed by other community users I'd be happy to revisit this suggestion in future.

Regards,

Rob
