Brazilian National Calendar (API to add new Calendars)

Dear Blue Prism team,

I would like to suggest the addition of a feature that allows for manual implementation of the Brazilian National Calendar or an API that can be used by the Schedule to obtain information and create this calendar with both national and local holidays. This would greatly benefit users in Brazil who need to schedule their automations around these holidays.

If this idea is interpreted as the ability to simply import any national calendar into the BP schedule, eg by means of an XL or CSV, then I consider this a good idea.

Thank you for raising, I set the Idea Status to Delivered.

We have solved this with Blue Prism 7.2, by providing the capability to create and update custom Calendars via the Blue Prism API.  Using the Blue Prism API, you can retrieve a calendar information, then tweak the information and use this to create and maintain a new Calendar.

Blue Prism 7.2 includes:

• Calendar Management – Tasks and calendars can be synchronized with external systems, ensuring the digital workforce is responsive to business needs.
