Communications - CDOC search

Add a baseline search for the Communications Doc ID (CDOC) to Chorus. All customers that use Communications would benefit from having this search available.

A quick search screen can be used today to enter the search criteria, but the criteria has to be removed and reselected every time. 

Please weigh in on the value/priority/impact of the following alternatives for a  default enhanced CDOC search for communications.

Option 1:  Similar to default Retrieve Object substituting a CDOC (source or work?)


Option 2:  

• configure the source and/or work options based on the instance
  • by source (saved automatically)
  • by work (if configured in the design)
• pre-set the CDOC field name
• enable existing simple operations
  • default is "="
  • like?  not like?
• enable compound operations
  • between which requires (2 parameters) > | >= and < | <= 
  • other?
